Following the great success of our first series, we are delighted to announce a new series led by Professor Shirli Gilbert. Each week, we take a subject from the broad span of modern Jewish history – from the late 18th Century to the present day – and learn, discuss, and debate together. There are a few short pieces of reading in preparation for each class, usually original primary source material from the time we are studying. No previous knowledge necessary.
This course runs every academic term and we welcome new starters. Please enquire about our Friday morning classes or other evening sessions that we will be running.
