Jews have shaped the history of South Africa in bold and ambitious ways, and the country has in turn deeply challenged their ideas about what it means to be Jewish. In this 4-part series we will dive into the rich history of Jewish life in South Africa, including Jews’ engagement in wider South African society, their attitudes to racism, and their relationship with Israel.
